Last week, AssessPatients had the opportunity to pitch at the Digital Health & Care Institute (DHI)’s Innovation Engine Room session as part of the DHI's focus on the Innovation involved in Health & Social Care Integration in Scotland.
This was a great opportunity to showcase our platform following a day of presentations and discussions on
Scotland’s upcoming plans to integrate health and social care in the coming weeks.
The purpose of the event was to explore the 10 year vision of health and social care integration – the 2020 vision.
The event was well attended including representatives from Health boards and local authorities, Government policy leads, Citizen representative bodies, Civic partners and Funding organisations.
The interactive discussions covered;
- Meeting data governance requirements while enabling sharing of people’s data to deliver good care services
- Integrating health and social care to support a person / citizen focus to the delivery of care
- Incorporating greater co-creation through user led design principles
- Discussion on UK and European funding and collaboration opportunities
Finally, the innovation engine room showcase – where we had five minutes to highlight the benefits of the Assesspatient’s platform to enable better collaboration between the older community and their integrated care teams to support a greater emphasis on community based care
